A kolozsvári egyetemen szerzett magyar-latin szakos tanári képesítést. 1920-tól a csíkszeredai főgimnázium tanára. A Csíki Lapok, Erdélyi Tudósító munkatársa. Férfias élet címmel lefordította és kiadta M. J. Exner angol szerző szexuálpedagógiai művét (Csíkszereda 1934).
