# Boros György Tordátfalva 1855 - ? *unitárius püspök* Tanulmányait a kolozsvári gimnáziumban és a teológiai akadémián kezdte és Londonban fejezte be a Manchester new Collegeben. 1879-ben lett teológiai tanár Kolozsvárot és újjászervezte az intézetet. 1910-ben az unitárius egyház Főtanácsa főjegyzővé választotta. Ferenc József püspök halála után 1928-ban a tordai zsinaton unitárius püspökké választatott. Az angol és magyar egyházi irodalomban kifejtett munkásságáért a cambridge-i Harward egyetem tiszteletbeli doktorává avatta.
