A csíkszeredai katolikus gimnáziumban tanult. A csíkszeredai katolikus gimnázium elvégzése után papi pályára készült, de teológiai tanulmányait félbeszakítva újságíró lett. Előbb Csíkszeredában, majd Nagyváradon jelentek meg írásai a napilapokban. *Csíkvármegye monográfiája napjainkig a legrégibb időktől* című munkáját 1935-ben adták ki Csíkszeredában.
