A csíkszeredai Római Katolikus Főgimnáziumban érettségizett 1924-ben, néhány évig hivatalnok, 1929-1934-ban Gyulafehérváron végzett teológiát, 1934-ben szentelik katolikus pappá. 1936–37-ben Párizsban folytatja tanulmányait. Kolozsváron káplán, Aranyosgyéresen, Alsócsernátonban, Marosvásárhelyen, Marosújváron, végül Tusnádfürdőn plébános. A Csíki Lapok munkatársa.
