A Szotyori Nagy testvérek – szotyori [Nagy Gyula](/szekelyfold-hires-emberei/nagy_gyula.md) és szotyori Nagy Áron – a sepsiszentgyörgyi Székely Mikó Kollégiumban tanultak.

Szotyori [Nagy Gyula](/szekelyfold-hires-emberei/nagy_gyula.md) ikertestvére Szotyori Nagy Áron magyar királyi vezérkari ezredes volt, de mivel robbanógolyótól származó fejsérüléssel élte túl a hadifogságot, katonai pályája megtört, a budapesti hadimúzeum, a jelenlegi Hadtörténeti Múzeum igazgatója volt, egy Szolnok melletti tanyán, kényszerlakhelyen fejezte be eseményekben gazdag életét.
